At Via Vacare, guests will daily be surprised by the cook. Our rates include breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have a fixed menu, and every day it will be different! The menu is inspired by the preferences of your favorite dishes, and take your “not likes” or “may not have” into consideration.  So let us know!

In our kitchen we use fresh and healthy products as much as possible, we have our own chicken to prepare, we buy fish from the locals, we use leaves of trees and plants. We go to the market on the main land regularly, with a big basket to avoid plastic bags.

Breakfast always consists of fruit salad, toast, marmalade, peanut butter, honey, chocolate paste. Every morning something extra like  homemade bread, eggs in various ways, banana pancakes, muesli, yoghurt, black rice porridge and other Indonesian breakfast is served. Breakfast can also be served on the veranda of the bungalow. Lunch and dinner will be enjoyed in the main house restaurant together.


At lunch time we serve meals of the international kitchen like our popular lentil pumpkin soup, big beautiful salad, guacamole with chips and brown beans, chapatis with vegetable curry, sushi but also the well-known Indonesian mie goreng, nassi goreng or gado gado.

Dinner will be Indonesian food, famous and less famous recipes, but of course a lot with fresh fish and other seafood. Vegetarians will enjoy special vegetarian food.

Many guests have let us know that they loved to be surprised and now they know more dishes and tastes they probably would not have known otherwise.

In case you are fond of your little glass of wine or big glass of beer, ..beer and wine is available in our restaurant.

And of course, you are welcome in our open kitchen to participate in cooking! Or ask for a special cooking workshop!
